Saw a kid on Keha 3 today..

Riding his kevari at 90kp/h going west. Man.
The crazy fucker overtook me - in my Corolla doing 80 - and then nearly got his head taken off by the truck in front.
The truck had a ton of ice on its trailer roof that just slid sheets off and narrowly missed this kid's head.

Oh yeah.

Luckily, most of us survive teenage...

Every one of us has been some time reckless...
And then again... while riding absolutely by the book (like me, on a bicycle) a car comes behind a "triangle", hits you and while lying in considerable pain on your back you wonder: "what did I do wrong?"

When I think about how reckless I was when I got my driver's license for a car … phew. But I survived – and no one else got hurt.

One funny detail struck me now, however.

As a young jerk behind the steering wheel I never was even close to causing an accident where the other part had been a motorcycle. And now, as a middle aged biker, I have never been in a situation where some young driver tried to hit me with his car (they usually are 40+ men…)

So, I wonder, do young guys actually see bikers much better than other drivers, even if they otherwise are dangerous?

I have had to brake hard or yield so many times for dangerous car drivers, that there should statistically have been some really young blokes trying to hit me, too. But none.

That´s true Karvanaama! One of my bikerfriends, a police officer had a collison with a car driven by an old farmer who came behind a traffic triangle. My friend hurted his pelvis so bad that has no possibility to drive a motorcycle more.
